haiku of protest
there is rule of law
imposed to us but not them;
a charter crisis!
urban poor in queues
for a measly subsidy;
beggars increase!
all want to go out
to live, to work overseas;
for greener pasture
to a few who's left
in misery and despair;
a depressing thought
we should act as one
and to fight for what is right;
wake up my people!
on one side: people
who are suffering too much;
in survival stance
with truncheons and guns
the partial authorities;
the brainless robots!
to die in hunger
or to die with dignity;
the battle begins!
I know haiku should be without theme but since I want to express my protest on what is happening in my country in this form of poetry, here goes...
